Hillsboro Hillsboro Village

The center of Hillsboro Village is located along Hillsboro Road, a major thoroughfare dating from before the Civil War. It is a former streetcar suburb, and shopping and entertainment district, containing vintage clothing stores, a used bookstore, art galleries, the non-profit Belcourt Theatre, and independent restaurants. The heart of Hillsboro Village is home to the Acklen Avenue Post Office, noted for its wall of autographed photos of country music stars. It is also home to local musicians Ben Folds and Mat Kearney. Hillsboro Village is adjacent to Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and close to Belmont University, and Music Row. The village is popular with college students. Hillsboro Road also divides the area into two neighborhoods: Hillsboro-West End to the West, and Belmont-Hillsboro to the East.



12 South 12 South

A leafy residential neighborhood known for its bungalow-style homes, 12 South also offers fine-dining restaurants, stylish designer boutiques and stores specializing in vintage guitars and quirky homewares. It's also home to the iconic “I Believe in Nashville” mural, a popular photo op for visitors. Built around an elegant antebellum mansion, Sevier Park has towering trees, picnic shelters and playgrounds.



Franklin Franklin

Franklin is a city just south of Nashville, in Tennessee. A key site of the American Civil War, it’s home to 2 properties exploring the 1864 Battle of Franklin: Carter House and Carnton Plantation, which includes the McGavock Confederate Cemetery. The 1858 Lotz House contains a large collection of 19th-century furniture. Downtown’s Main Street is lined with galleries, antique shops and restored Victorian buildings.



Germantown Germantown

With chic restaurants in restored Victorian buildings, and cafes along the brick sidewalks, Germantown exudes period charm. Former warehouses contain elegant boutiques selling high-end shoes and clothing, while Nashville Farmers' Market has eclectic global eateries as well as vendors offering seasonal produce. Nearby, the Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park features skyline views and monuments to Tennessee history.



East Nashville East Nashville

East Nashville has a quirky vibe and a buzzing food and nightlife scene. The Five Points area is known for its street art, upbeat bars and trendy fine-dining restaurants, while nearby Fatherland Street is the place to go for offbeat shops. In leafy Shelby Park, the Greenway is a paved tree-lined path winding along the Cumberland River. Nissan Stadium fills with crowds for Titans football home games.



Gulch The Gulch

The Gulch is an upscale neighborhood known for its chic hotels, high-end fashion boutiques and trendsetting restaurants. In a striking art deco building, The Frist Art Museum hosts diverse, adventurous exhibitions, as well as film screenings and lectures. Renowned bluegrass musicians take the stage at The Station Inn, a tiny club open since the 1970s, while Mercy Lounge has indie, soul and folk gigs.
